Dr. Glen Thomson graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2005. He has practiced in several multidisciplinary practices in both the United States and Canada after having passed National Board and licensing examinations for both countries.
Dr. Glen believes in constant and never ending improvement and therefore always welcomes new opportunities to help people without the use of drugs or surgery. He is certified in Active Release Technique, Graston Technique and BioFlex low intensity laser therapy.
Choosing a chiropractic career was easy. After he injured his spine while working in an automotive shop, Dr. Glen had remarkable recovery through chiropractic. He embraced the chiropractic wellness lifestyle and soon discovered much more. It’s through this commitment that he was much less susceptible to seasonal illnesses. Furthermore to that, his performance dramatically improved as an athlete in martial arts. Dr. Glen has never been one to embrace taking medications. As he describes: “Chiropractic fit well with my natural philosophy on health”.
Dr. Glen employs a 5 factor approach to wellness called DREAM. This stands for Diet, Rest, Exercise, Adjustments and Mental attitude. In order to truly achieve wellness, you need to think and act on these factors on a daily basis. The foundation for this rests on the condition of your spine because the nerves that exit the spine go to every muscle, vital organ, gland, tissue and cell of the body. When there is problems with the spine, it interferes with the body’s ability to express vitality.
Dr. Glen earned his black belt in karate in 1998 and has trained in a variety of other disciplines over the past few years. He loves to spend time with family. He also loves technology, and the outdoors.
